“ Such a great little find. We stopped by and end our family night out here. Everything was delicious. The portion size is outrageous. My youngest and I ordered a medium come and it was huge. We both couldn't finish it. The price cannot be beat. For 5 people we only spent $25. That's two dipped cones, a large shake, a large sundae, and a large peanut butter lovers artic freeze. I was shocked when he gave us our total. I love the bench's and clean area to sit at and enjoy the peaceful environment. We will certainly be back! ”
“ great ice cream and such a nice owner! always so generous and everything on the menu is delish! support your local shops ”
“ Big thing here for the non-locals - CASH ONLY ! The owner is one of the most down to earth people you'll meet. All the ice cream here is lovely, haven't had one bad thing here. There is no hard serve ice cream, but you can figure that out based on doing basic research. The place is exactly how you see it as well, right off of 5th avenue, so if there is a massive line you'll wait and like it! There usually isn't ever a large line and there is shaded seating on the left side of the building. They have blizzards, cones, sundaes, milkshakes and slushies, so there is more than enough to choose from. Does not hold back on hooking you up, and the price is cheaper than DQ ”
“ The yummiest!! The fruit in the sundaes are real, not syrupy/ from a can. Service was fast and friendly. Price was reasonable. Can't wait to return. ”
“ I have only gone here like two times but it is so strategically placed I am just always so tempted to get ice cream after passing it, amazing place those were the best twist with rainbow sprinkles I've ever had and ever will have. ”
“ Wonderful hot fudge sundae and they don't skimp on the ice cream like other places. Milk shakes are yummy too. ”
“ Who doesn't love an ice cream cone on a hot summer day? This place is easy to get to in North Versailles, right off the main drag. Lots of places to park and still be socially distant. Employees were wearing masks and everything seemed clean and we felt "safe". Cash only. Prices you can't beat. If you're looking for traditional soft serve, dip cones, sundaes, etc. this is the place to go. They do have a doggy sundae with a treat for your fav pet, but I shared my cone with the pup. We both definitely approve!! ”
“ A great little place for all your ice cream needs. My go to treat is usually the chocolate shake but everything else I tried was Tastey! They appear to use Turner Dairy Products so you know the ice cream is a step above what you would find elsewhere in the area. ”
“ Best ice cream place in North Versailles (and probably the best ice cream place I've been to). The prices are great and you really get your money's worth. Their Freeze-Outs are great (their version of a Blizzard). I usually get a children's sized milkshake, since the small is HUGE. The quality of ice cream is much higher than your regular chain ice cream places. Just remember this place is cash only. I highly recommend you go to Arctic Avenue for your ice cream craving. ”
“ Arctic Avenue is a little ice cream shop in what was the store building for a gas station. The pumps were removed ages ago, and what remains is a wonderful place to go for a delicious ice cream treat!! There's even a cute ice cream one sign out front, so you can't miss it! The establishment is cash only- which isn't a problem if you know it up front. They have tons of different ice cream products, the usual soft-serve, hot fudge sundaes, and banana splits. If you order a soft serve cone with a topping, expect to find it in the bottom of the cone too! I love having a last bite full of rainbow sprinkles myself :) They also have their version of a DQ Blizzard, it's called a "Freeze Out" - which the cookie dough one is delicious, by the way. They come in a multitude of flavours, too! I recommend stopping here when you want some tasty ice cream! And I love supporting a small business when I can! ”
